I want to say thank you for Vivaldi, as a browser. I was feeling really sore after Opera 15, I used to use past versions of Opera for about every computer I’ve had since Win 3.x.
One day, I’m using Opera 12, and me being clueless, I accept it.
I lost my awesome Opera, and got a reskinned Google Chrome. Later on, the loss of the community features, like we have here, sealed it.
I had to switch back to Firefox, which was kind of painful: It too no longer resembles the Netscape/Mozilla that I remember in my youth.
So, in short, to say, I can’t wait for the bigger bugs to get worked out, so I can use Vivaldi again. Why again? Because it’s Opera, as it should be, and should have always been.
It feels great to be back with a power browser, and one that, I feel, fits my needs. As a long time nerd, web user, and general girl geek, I thank you again for giving back what was taken from us.
